2.3°LFrom a 5th generation malting family, Genie Pale is a versatile 2-row or pale base, but with subtle character unique to the TERROIR of Root Shoot. Bread-first with -very- slight honey and nut notes. Steps aside for specialty malts and hops, but provides slightly more complexity than a baseline 2-row.
Option to mill-fresh day-of shipping. Especially important for base malts. Ensure maximum diastatic enzyme-chewing power knowing we don't pre-mill.
Why we love it:
- "I just need a base malt!"
- We know exactly where it came from and who grew and malted it
- Can't stop winning Malt Cup awards so it must be good
