Dextrin Malt - Body Builder

Proximity ReGenMalt Body Builder is a dextrin-style malt (like Carapils) built to add body, mouthfeel, and head retention without loading your beer down with flavor or sweetness. It’s the go-to move when your beer feels thin or the head fades too fast — especially in hazy IPAs, pale lagers, or any session-style beer where you want more substance without extra color or caramel notes.

Flavor/Aroma

• Clean, subtle malt character
• Very low flavor impact at normal rates
• Slight malt sweetness when pushed harder

Beer Interplay

• Increases body and mouthfeel through unfermentable dextrins
• Improves head retention and foam stability
• Adds a touch of color (around 8 SRM) — more than classic Carapils-style malts

Practical Usage

Use Proximity Body Builder at 2–5% of the grist when you need to round out a beer that’s coming across thin or when you’re using a lot of adjuncts. It’s especially useful in hazy IPAs and light lagers where you want more body and better head without pushing color or flavor too far. A little goes a long way — start low and adjust on the next batch.
