Proximity lists it for red hue, with malty sweetness and a hint of toffee. Typical color is about 18°L (guide range 15–25). It still has diastatic power, so it can take a real share of the grist.

Proximity ReGenMalt Red Malt brings a clean red hue and a light toffee-malt note without leaning on crystal. A small cut, around 5–15%, shifts an amber. A larger share, up toward a third of the grist, is how the glass actually reads red. Bigger beers go brown sooner, so leave some pale in if you want the hue to stay red instead of copper-brown. Single infusion is fine.
